What is Active Brake Mosfet?
Active braking immediately stops the motor and gears from spinning as soon as the trigger is released, preventing overspin. The mosfet does this by quickly reversing the polarity of the current, prompting the motor to stop spinning.
What is active braking aeg?
Active Braking (AB) is basically you hopping in your car and accelerating to 60mph. When you’re ready to stop, you throw the vehicle into reverse and slam on the accelerator (in reverse) in an attempt to stop the vehicle.
How does an airsoft Mosfet work?
When installed into the wiring of an airsoft gun, the mosfet redirects the current from the battery to go straight to the motor without going through the trigger contacts first. Mosfets use an additional wire called a signal or trigger wire that lets the mosfet know when the trigger is pressed.
How does DC braking work?
DC injection braking is a method of slowing AC electric motors. A DC voltage is injected into the winding of the AC motor after the AC voltage is disconnected, providing braking force to the rotor.
What is difference between plugging and rheostatic braking?
This is similar for both series and shunt wound methods. Plugging gives greater braking torque as compared to rheostatic braking. This method is generally used in controlling elevators, machine tools, printing presses etc.
What does a gate Warfet do?
It can work with most built-in MOSFETs. With stock wiring, WARFET reduces melting switch assemblies. In hardwired installation, WARFET draws the energy from the battery directly to the motor, bypassing the mechanical trigger contacts. Resistant to atmospheric conditions (military specifications: MIL-V-173C)
What is pre cocking Airsoft?
With pre-cocking enabled, after each shot, the piston is pulled partially back so the sector gear doesn’t have to turn as much before the piston is released. This makes trigger response better, ie. the delay from trigger pull to shot is shorter. It puts some more stress on the internals.
