What is Hasa multi Chlor?
HASA Multi-Chlor® is a 12.5% sodium hypochlorite available for swimming pool and hot tub treatment, but also is certified to NSF 60 for drinking water chlorination.
What is multi chlor used for?
MultiChlor is a Filtered, 12.5% NaOCl liquid chlorine sanitizer especially formulated for disinfecting and sanitizing industrial and water treatment equipment. It also controls odor, destroys molds, and chlorinates the water supply.
How do you use Sani Chlor?
RINSE METHOD oz. of this product with 10 gallons of water to provide approximately 600 ppm available chlorine by weight. Clean equipment surfaces in the normal manner. Prior to use, rinse all surfaces thoroughly with the disinfecting solution, maintaining contact with the solution for at least 10 minutes.
How does spa shock work?
How Does it Work? The main purpose of spa shock is to break-down organic waste contaminants which cause bad odors and cloudy or foamy hot tub water. It does this by oxidizing the water, which is the process of rapidly removing the outer electrons from contaminants in the water that the spa shock comes in contact with.
Is spa shock the same as chlorine?
Spa Shock is commonly available in two different forms. There is chlorine based shock (Sodium Dichlor), which increases your sanitizer levels as well as shocking the water, and non-chlorine shock (potassium monopersulfate or MPS) which is purely for oxidizing the water.
Can you put too much shock in a spa?
The bottom line is that over-shocking is possible, but being responsible with your chemicals and timing will help you to avoid it as often as possible!
