The word Sufi originated from Suffa which was established by the Holy Prophet Muhammad –may peace and love be upon him—next to Al-Masjid an-Nibali. those people who resided in Ashab al-Suffa were usually orphans, who were striving to learn business, art, agriculture and Islam. There traditions and their knowledge is what Sufi practices.
