It just automatically sprays on it’s own on intervals that cannot be reprogrammed. Failed to get answers. Answer: Yes, discontinued.

The issue is that the sensor is not detecting the tip as an original air wick canister. I found that if you pull the tip off, and reinsert it lightly (so it stays as tall as possible in the freshmatic) it will be able to be detectable and it will start working again.
